We are currently looking for an Assembly Technician to contribute to the successful production of our Cryogenic products at our Pasadena, California facility. This is part of L-3 Infrared Products Business Unit. This individual will contribute to the group's success by performing piece part cleaning and vacuum baking, bonding of regenerator and piston assemblies, soldering of assembly expanders, compressor and cooler, and coordinating between production functions to meet schedule and quality requirements. Responsibilities of this position will include:
1. Assembly of cryocoolers using ultrasonic cleaning, bonding, and vacuum-baking.
2. Soldering of lead wires and PWB assemblies.
3. Precision Assembly of Mechanical parts.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess High School Diploma or GED. We are looking for an individual that has a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated past assembly experience reading blueprints and following Assembly Work-Instructions. Manual dexterity for precision of electro-mechanical assembly is required. Soldering experience is required (preferably J-STD-001). Solder certification preferred. The ability to lead and work in teams is essential. Experience in lean manufacturing is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. The ability to work with diverse personalities in a team environment, a demonstrated strong attendance record, and strong organization skills is required.
