The SCPS Division of Programs in Business is seeking an individual to direct daily program operation and administration for their non-credit programs in Finance and Information Technology. The individual will also determine academic offerings, and develop new programs and events; market programs; advise, recruit and retain students; recruit, evaluate, and manage adjunct faculty; administer program budgets and control expenses, and supervise staff. Participate in strategic planning initiatives.
Advanced degree or course work in Project Management and/or Information Technologies.
Min of 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience administering and marketing programs and events, writing, supervising staff, and budget preparation and management.
Experience in an academic and/or corporate environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Ability to research, plan, create, and implement new and existing programs and events. Ability to market programs to target groups, recruit, advise, and retain faculty and students. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, make strategic decisions, evaluate programs and instructional staff. Ability to provide customer service and manage relationships with diverse populations.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Ability to manage multiple projects and systems with great attention to detail. Ability to communicate ideas and strategies for program growth and sustainability. Ability to work well with multiple personalities and liaise with multiple departments and personnel. Familiarity with emerging technologies including distance learning and digital platforms.
