Riverside County Regional Medical Center has a great opportunity for an Assistant Hospital Administrator functioning as an Ancillary Services Administrator. RCRMC is seeking a team player who thrives as a hands-on manager and will step into the heart of our operation in order to support the mission and goals of our hospital. Our 520,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is licensed for 439 beds and includes a Level II Trauma Center. Ancillary and support services include a 24-hour pharmacy, full service lab, cardiac testing and diagnostics, occupational and physical therapy services, and radiology services.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
In this position, you will have responsibility for managing and reviewing the activities of the Ancillary Services departments. You will provide direct leadership to managers and staff within the departments of Diagnostic Services, Rehabilitative Services, Respiratory Therapy, and radiology services. You will also be responsible for special assignments, especially monitoring compliance with Joint Commission, State and Federal regulatory standards. You will also evaluate the performance of assigned hospital departments and ensure effective and efficient operations.
Level I – Graduation from a recognized college with a Bachelor's degree preferably with major course work in business administration or public administration and four years of experience in budgetary analysis, budgetary development and control, personnel management, organizational analysis, or planning/growth management analysis, in a hospital or health care agency; At least one year of the qualifying experience must have been in a management capacity.
Level II - Graduation from a recognized college with a Master's Degree, preferably in Hospital Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, Business Management or related field plus a minimum of three years of hospital administration experience in an acute care hospital.
