Monitor service levels on the dining room floor and adjust staffing to ensure adequate coverage at all times.

Administer food line checks, tasting all food products checking for quality and ensuring product meets property established standards.

Complete paperwork, daily reports and all other necessary financial analysis for the restaurant.

Ensure guest satisfaction by greeting every table and making sure their needs are met.

Order products and supplies for the restaurant.

Complete dinner reservations for guests as required.

Conduct daily staff briefs on restaurant events or updates and provide regular staff training meetings.

Maintain accurate and adequate employee records, ensure all employee relation issues are handled in a professional manner and issue commendations and disciplinary action as necessary.

Train all employees on the proper steps and sequences of service to ensure they are following all company polices, practices and procedures.

Ensure daily operational tasks are performed, completed and the restaurant is clean and well maintained

Ensure equipment is in working order.

Practice all necessary sanitation methods to ensure all food safety standards are adhered to.

Communicate via e-mail in a professional manner and follow all computer use guidelines.

Ensure necessary tools are provided to staff.

Maintain and control budgeted labor costs.

Ensure all departmental and company policies are followed and strictly adhered to.

Achieve all service, financial, and human resource goals set forth by company executives.

Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to lead and mentor a team.

Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.

Ability to speak, read and write in English.

Preferred:
At least 2 years prior high-volume, full service Assistant Manager or Supervisory restaurant experience.

Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

Previous experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
