ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ANTI-PD-1 NSCLC(Job Number: 1202768)
The Associate Director (D07), Global Commercialization, Anti-PD-1 NSCLC and Companion Diagnostics will be an integral member of the Anti-PD-1 Global Commercialization Team and reports to the NSCLC Director. This is a high-profile marketing role and will focus on key projects that contribute to the successful launch of Anti-PD-1, specifically in NSCLC. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to a combination of strategic and operational projects working closely with cross functional matrix stakeholders, including the regional businesses, in order to build a Global position and to execute Global projects/programs effectively. In this role, the Associate Director will partner closely with other members of the Global Commercialization Team, Global Functional Leads (Market Access, Market Research, GMHQ, R&D), the Lung TSG including YERVOY lung team, members of the PDx Center of Excellence, and the US, European, and other Regional teams. •Responsibility for capturing meaningful NSCLC market insights •Leadership of NSCLC congress-related activities •Provides commercial strategy support to NSCLC development of Anti-PD-1 in China •Provides commercial support for NSCLC and Pharmaco-diagnostics advisory boards •Provides regional support for NSCLC launch and integration of PDx strategies •Contributes to the development of the NSCLC strategic, functional, tactical plans; develops indication specific budget and contributes to long-term financial planning •Responsibility for development of Anti-PD-1 Learning System for NSCLC and supports regional Knowledge Transfer •Responsibility for development of Learning System for Companion Diagnostics and supports regional Knowledge Transfer •Communicates and integrates with other members of the Oncology organization to transfer learning, knowledge and processes
Job Function: Marketing
- BS/BA or equivalent required; an MBA or other advanced degree preferred •Minimum 5-7 years experience, with at least 4 years in marketing is sought; regional operational experience, particularly in China, a benefit but not a requirement •Oncology and companion diagnostic experience is not required but preferred •Individual should have proven track record demonstrating breadth and depth across marketing competencies, BMS behaviors and exemplary achievement of performance objectives •Strong leadership skills will be required to lead/contribute to the overall brand planning, and execution of key deliverables •Experience in mobilizing matrix team members, regional partners, embracing teamwork and project management within a cross functional environment will be critical •Demonstrated analytical skills, with regards to market research, competitive data collection analysis, financial analysis and crystallization of key business insights are needed •Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently drive performance are required •Personal integrity; passionate, energetic and focused on the company and mission •Listens/considers alternative ideas, viewpoints and encourages debate on others' ideas. •Capacity to grow, develop and learn from experiences and operate at a higher, more strategic level
