Design, develop and test end to end applications and services for use in mobile communication products.
Device side analytics, control, remote diagnostics, Radio module AT commands.
Define and code end to end application protocols & commands for use in mobile communication products.
Oversee and direct the production of end to end applications and services to ensure the design specifications are followed.
Provide support and supervision to third party companies who are working at the Foundry in order to develop prototypes and proof of concept applications and services.
Demonstrative experience in defining and architecting end to end application wireless protocols and commands.
Develop and code device side analytics, control, and remote diagnostics.
Familiarity with radio module AT commands.
Ability to develop applications on devices with μP controllers from simple to complex OS.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related field
5-8 years experience in developing software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.
Understand API design/development, Web Services design/development (REST, SOA, etc.)
Proficient in application/software architecture (Definition, Business Process Modeling, etc.)
Understand application/software development and design.
Proficient in application/software testing (Unit, Integration, System, Case Planning, Design and Execution).
Understand Change Control Methodology.
Proficient in Development Methodolgies (AGILE, ITUP, 3D, etc.)
Knowledge in protocols (network, software).
Understand Development Tools (Rational Tools, Agile Tools, simulation tools, etc.)
Proficient in internet technologies/programming (WSDLS, HTML, DHTML, XHML, XML, .NET, Active X, SSL, HTTP, Weblogic, Websphere, etc.).
Understand operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows).
