Responsible for directing and controlling the activities of RAN Performance managers and RAN Performance Engineers in a region. Leads the triage and analysis of regional and market performance trends for the RAN utilizing complex data and correlating with various other data elements. Responsible for identifying root causes, trends, and offenders and understanding what it takes to close gap to established objectives and goals. Oversees a major technical area or section within a specialized area. Solves non-routine problems based on analysis of multiple factors. Identifies and jointly implements network process and technical improvement plans designed to increase customer satisfaction and improve the overall wireless network customer experience. Responsible for directing the field customer and VIP trouble ticket escalation investigation and resolution process. Interfaces with many internal groups to accomplish goals. Ensures market and regional Performance Management processes, tools and methods are consistent and aligned with national standards and policies. Must have strong working knowledge of wireless networks and standards including overall network architecture, RF design & performance principles, wireless data, GSM and UMTS.
Proven leadership skills, experience leading teams to achieve superior results.
BS in engineering or related discipline, 12 years experience in wireless network engineering/operations with 7 years experience in supervisory position
Strong analysis, problem solving, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
MS in engineering and MBA or related discipline preferred
