The Lead FOTA Product Development Manager (Firmware Over-the-Air) role will have overall Project and Product Management responsibility for FOTA campaign and management.

Responsibility: End to End ownership of FOTA Experience, Processes, and Platforms across the AT&T Device Portfolio.

FOTA Platform Management

Drive a consistent FOTA experience across all mobile devices and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)

Evolve FOTA capability and platforms such that FOTA is a tool for rapid device improvement, correction and optimization

Front door to Product Realization for FOTA platform features, upgrades and optimization

Consistently manage FOTA strategy and capabilities through the device certification process to include issues being found regularly in post launch trouble shooting

Quarterly review of FOTA Related SPE (Subscriber Product Engineering) Documentation

Consistent review of Device MAXD (Mobile AT&T Experience Document) FOTA compliance with SPE, DPM (Device Product Marketing), and OEMs in support of FOTA Strategy

FOTA Campaign Management

Manage all FOTA campaigns end to end

Manage the customer contact plan, including delivery method and communications

Campaign scheduling with FOTA Operations, Customer Care, and other channels/stakeholders as necessary

Customer Care notification point for available FOTA software, issue description and resolution

Consistent FOTA Process evolution

Work with Customer Lifecycle Management on device specific projects on a National and Regional level

Reporting Responsibilities

Campaign success rates

OS updates

Competitor OS (Operating System) update tracking

Quarterly Platform Roadmap

Monthly Platform Health and Capacity

Quarterly FOTA Compliance by OE

Position is located in Atlanta, GA.


Required Qualifications:
5+ years of project management and product development experience

Strong organizational and cross-functional coordination skills

Strong analytical skills

Significant experience in device updating and customer experience

OEM OTA platform experience

Must be highly organized and process oriented

Experience managing multiple projects and delivering on time

Experience managing projects with external vendors/partners

Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills

Demonstrated fluency with Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and PowerPoint
