The NETREX program is a college hire development program that provides the opportunity for participants to collaborate with project teams while gaining broad experience across the AT&T Network Operations organization. This program will allow you to gain the professional development and peer/leadership support that will help you jump start your career with AT&T.
Being part of this program will help you build your technical, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills to achieve real impact at a much earlier stage than many of your peers. Specialist - Network Support
, your primary responsibilities will include The candidate will be part of the Uverse Video IPTV team providing Tier 2 and 3 support for software & hardware issues across the nation. They will be engaged in a variety of projects with exposure to server operations including many products and different types of IP networks.
The applicant must posses a willingness to learn in a highly technical enviroment dealing with many teams across AT&T. They must be adapting to change and quickly recognize situations where change is needed. They must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to stay focus in the face of unknows, and be innovative in solving complex business problems. We are seeking a condidate who also has advanced skills around software automation and coding to help us drive efficiencies across the teams.
Nature of Contribution-
Technical professional with limited experience. Primarily completes standard work.
Has basic working knowledge of technical principles and methods within own discipline / specialty area. Integrates basic principles of discipline with processes and procedures to complete own job. Grows current knowledge of AT&T technologies, systems.
Analysis and Problem Solving -
Solves non-routine problems by applying limited judgment to select appropriate standard procedures. Articulates and refines identified issues within own area. Analyzes a variety of factors within applicable standards and procedures to develop solution. Reviews structured technical problems and independently selects appropriate methods.
Follows established policies and procedures; plans work priorities with guidance from superiors. Works on assignments of limited scope and limited discretion applied in establishing deadlines and approaches for completing own assignments.

This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T's compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
1-3 years experience
CISCO and CCNA Certifications
BS in Sciences, Operations, Engineering, Management, or Systems Integration
Knowledge of Network Planning, Engineering, Construction and Mobility architectures
