Oversees the development and implementation of strategic long and short range program and project plans to achieve objectives for business unit initiatives. Owns the planning and development of the Service and Admin Workstream as part of Private Sector Grow program. Develops sponsors and leads key initiatives to address business strategy and profitability objectives. Ensures that initiatives and plans are consistent with the company's long-term vision and direction.
- Oversees and drives the development and implementation of all aspects of Advisor Service, New Business Implementation and the establishment of the ERISA Technical Services team for the Retirement Plans business.
- Owns the Service and Administration Workstream for the Private Sector Grow program.
- Influences and assures successful partnership with functional areas in the development execution of Operations strategies, programs, projects, initiatives, and processes.
- May help govern activities for the RP program office. Provides leadership for the strategic, financial, planning and execution of the functions listed above.
- Serves as a key member of the Retirement Plan Operations Leadership Team.
Oversees the Advisor service areas providing leadership for short and long term service strategy, driving the management team and building a sales and relationship oriented culture through people development, communication and metrics. Drives results that improve retention, CEM and repeat business. Strong relationships with Sales partners are critical.
Responsible for all aspects of 401(k) New Business including building a strong process that provides an outstanding experience for plan sponsors, advisors and third-party administrators for plan set-up, transition and complete on-boarding. New Business services will be provided across our Preferred Pension Administrator (PPA), Third Party Administrator (TPA) and Bundled service models in a consistent way.
Oversees the establishment and management of the ERISA Technical Services team that provides Advisors and Sales support on complex 401(k) plan design, plan administration and testing expertise and general 401(k) and 401(a) expertise
Serves as executive sponsor of the Client Services Development program that ensures top talent is acquired, team members are experts in the areas of focus and a continual learning environment is established.
Oversees resources responsible for regulatory compliance including audit, Sarbanes Oxley and state licensing. Oversees budget management, metrics and reporting.
Leads, motivates, communicates, provides coaching and feedback and promotes organizational associate engagement.
Serves as a key member of the RP Ops leadership teams. Makes recommendations on behalf of this team on a variety of issues to Corporate partners (Compliance, General Counsel, HR, Marketing, Finance, IT)
Education: Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Certification: NASD series 6 and 26
Experience: Fifteen plus years of experience in operations and/or process management. Successful Business Delivery Exec experience is needed along with proven track record of strong sales relationship management. A significant portion should be progressively responsible leadership and project management experience, including managing managers within the financial services industry. This role has heavy ERISA and 401(k) technical exposure. Experience in Retirement Plans is a must

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels internally and externally. Ability to develop, manage and evaluate diverse strategies and projects and make effective decisions. Strong presentation skills are necessary for work with both internal and external customers. Strong interpersonal relationship skills. Detail oriented with strong strategic thinking and business acumen skills. Must be fully competent in operations processes, and project development and management.
