Job Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for helping manage client portfolios including asset management, research, and analysis for all investment products including but not limited to individual securities, mutual funds, ETF’s, REITS, UITs, and Variable annuities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for helping manage client portfolios including asset management, research, and analysis for all investment products including but not limited to individual securities, mutual funds, ETF’s, REITS, UITs, and Variable annuities.

  • Understand and communicate current positioning of all firm strategies, recent changes in key holdings or sectors, and investment results relative to benchmarks

  • Communicate with both clients and internally regarding various investment policies, procedures and compliance issues

  • Analyze portfolios including positioning and performance results

  • Generate and review trades

  • Monitor accounts for any client account investment guidelines violations, updates and changes

  • Conduct and facilitate client meetings or client portfolio review calls

  • Prepare client presentations, communication and reporting

  • Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of the other essential job functions

  • Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work

  • Follow all Bank policy, practice and procedure

  • Drive an automobile


  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of standard investment management concepts

  • Advanced computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects

  • Ability to work under general supervision

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to produce accurate, thorough and timely work

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and to communicate them accurately to others

  • Position Requirements

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting

  • MBA preferred

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a trust/wealth management function or equivalent experience

  • Trust certification or trust school graduate preferred

  • Ability to travel

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
