Job Summary: - Counsels and advises students on academic issues relating to their major. Assists students with application for major declaration. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides academic advising for new, transfer, and continuing students. - Discuss linkage between academic preparation and the working environment. - Communicate university policies and procedures. - Be familiar with TSI policies as it relates to UHD. - Assist with First Time College (FTIC) Orientation. - May assist in recruiting high school and community college students, and make presentations at special events. - Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education: - Baccalaureate Degree. Experience: - Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience or a minimum of four (4) years in a professional position.
Education/Experience: - Degree or experience in a science or technology discipline.
