Vantagen LLC, is seeking an Account Executive to support its growing practice in New York City . Under the general supervision of the Partners and/or Directors, the Account Executive will carry out HR initiatives and programs within the region in support of the goals and initiatives of the Firm. The Account Executive develops a strong and effective working relationship with internal and external clients, including team members and partners, acting as a consultant to all levels of management in order to arrive at sound conclusions and resolution of human resources issues.

JOB SUMMARY

This position exercises significant opportunity for independent judgment and discretion for selling Vantagen services while meeting or exceeding sales targets. This is an outsides sales role responsible for identifying, prospecting and developing executive level relationships with new clients and key business partners to increase revenue. This position is responsible to understand client needs and sell value by leveraging Vantagen’s unique servicing capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for formulating, planning and executing a sales plan for the assigned sales territory. This includes developing and carrying out sales activities to successfully meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Meets with prospects and uses consultative selling techniques to determine customer needs and how Vantagen services can best meet their expectations. This requires the ability to clearly present and creates excitement about Vantagen’s capabilities
  • Develops a continual pipeline for new business and cultivates relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Collaborates with all internal departments to provide support during customer implementations, ensures customer questions are answered, and issues are resolved.
  • Updates the Vantagen CRM database of all prospects, clients, brokers and other referral sources on marketing and sales activities.
  • Assists as required in prospect meetings and servicing demonstrations.
  • Identifies prospects/clients through a variable RFP approach.

    Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS

    A Four year Bachelors Degree
    Proven sales experience in the Benefits Administration and/or Human Resources areas.
    PA Health and Life Insurance License Preferred but not required
    • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are required to perform the functions as described. Incumbents must have the ability to navigate political arenas with ease as well as persuade, influence and sell change effectively while projecting a professional image.
    • The ability to foster strong relationships with customers and work cross-functionally through internal departments is required. T
    • The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical prospects and promote and sell solutions to decision makers is essential.
    • Excellent negotiation skills are essential.
    • Familiarity with sales force automation tracking systems is required and MS Office products.
    In addition, qualified candidates must have advanced computer skills and a valid driver’s license.

    TRAVEL

    Frequent daily travel in the mid-Atlantic (PA, NY, NJ, DE, MD) area required. Moderate overnight travel &
