Klout is seeking an experienced brand sales professional who is obsessed with social media, great technology, and building a winning business. The brand partnership team at Klout is responsible for negotiating partnerships that enhance our product offerings, generate recurring revenue streams with both brand (and agency) partners, and think creatively about how to generate new business in an ever-evolving ecosystem. The position is a full-time, position in New York. The position reports to the Director of Brand Partnerships, East who is based in our New York office.
Manage your own business by driving new and sustainable partnerships with brand and the agencies that support them.
Educate your clients around the power of Klout’s innovative influencer platform and the value of Earned media.
Work very closely with Account Managers to ensure that campaigns are executed successfully and appropriate success metrics are set.
Establish a strong Klout presence in Chicago and key mid-West markets by establishing lasting, mutually beneficial client relationships with the biggest brands and agencies in the world.
Here’s what you need to have:
At least 5 years experience in high growth tech sales or business development role.
Strong social media competency.
A robust and ever-growing list of key decision makers at brands and agencies.
Comfort with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment.
Extensive knowledge of online business models and consumer internet/technology.
Proven track record with high standards of professionalism.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside Facebook.
Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized.
A Klout Score of 50 or higher.
