CAREER OPPORTUNITY

The ideal MWV Sales Representative likes to make things happen and see results! If this sounds like you, you should consider this dynamic role, where you’ll be charged with expanding MWV’s customer base and market share. This means you’ll need to be both creative and strategic about developing new business opportunities and growing existing ones as well as creating a presence in new markets and with new applications.

This opportunity is for the Beauty & Personal Care SBU. MWV offers a variety of packaging solutions for this market, including non-aerosol sprayers, dispensing pumps, airless packaging, fragrance sprayers and dispensing closures. HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV

  • Be innovative in independent and collaborative ways to develop new and existing customer relationships.
  • Find ways to differentiate MWV by promoting and selling value-added Personal and Beauty care packaging products and services.
  • Master understanding of current MWV capabilities, values, emerging technologies, trends and issues as they pertain to B&PC packaging business.
  • Manage the sales process within each account in order to insure accomplishment of forecast goals, including the identification of opportunities, the development of account strategies, and the successful implementation of the strategies.
  • Assure creation of diversified Sales Plans with mix of ongoing existing business, pipeline development, and new business creation.
  • Administer territory business for timely, proactive decision making in order to meet the forecast and remain within the assigned budgets. (Reporting, Sales Tracking & Administration)
  • Provide sales management with information regarding activities in the marketplace that could impact sales efforts in associated business units.
  • Work closely with plant facilities on innovative projects that would support the sales effort.
  • Work with all elements of the sales administration and operations group to ensure that customer requirements are met while providing MWV with the positive economic impact needed for the business.
  • WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
    • 5+ more years of direct sales experience with a packaging company specializing in innovative packaging or related products focused on fragrance , cosmetics, beauty and personal care customers.
    • A demonstrated record of successful selling background
    • Relevant experience in value based or consultative selling role
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferably in Marketing or in a packaging/printing related discipline
    • Familiar with packaging processes as they relate to customer needs and requirements.
    • Formal training in sales, marketing and related activities.
    • Ability to stay on abreast of the latest marketing and sales techniques, technologies and tactics that complement organizational sales efforts
    • Excellent presentation skills and analytical skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills - Maintain a positive professional outlook.--within and outside the MWV organization
    • Excellent Organizational Skills -The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment without losing sight of long and short term company, as well as sales organization goals - able to prioritize.
    • Ability to travel 30% and work on global projects with international teams
