Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking an Account Executive / Business Development Manager here in Morrisville, North Carolina for a position in a local market. The Account Executive will be responsible and accountable for driving sales for new business and existing customers with a heavy emphasis on new business. The Account Executive will represent products and services to prospective clients. The prospects will include small and medium businesses as well as larger enterprises in all industry segments. The Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting within their territory, developing solutions for clients and closing business.
Knowledge and Skills:
At least 5 years Information Technology (IT) sales experience
Proven track record of success
Small/medium company experience
Complex IT sales experience
Consultative selling experience (selling capabilities rather than just products)
Ability to call on C-Level executives
Strong contact base and ability to convert to business
Ability to work in a team environment
Technical knowledge and understanding
Knowledge of hosting or outsourcing industry
Excellent listening, writing & presentation skills
Ability to partner and influence
Territory plan development & execution
Bachelor’s degree required.
Compensation: $75,000+. Total compensation package is dependent on relevant work experience and recent salary history. Opportunity to secure commission and bonus package included.
