ACCOUNT MANAGER
Job Description:
This position sells and services Paper Chemicals to our major and largest more complex target accounts within a region. The successful candidate will exhibit the highest set of sales and technical skills enabling the incumbent to take on the most challenging opportunities or issues. Acts as a role model for the other sales members. Would report to a District or Regional Manager.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the Total Air Control program and monitor its potential impact on Board machines.
Increase Net Sales growth by developing
major
key applications in existing and/or key target accounts.
Manage and organize the entire service program under a “Value-Added” approach using skills and some service/support resources to maintain and grow existing business.
Stay in tune with financial performance information and ensures forecasting data is updated.
Keep abreast of changing technology, all GP products and competitive markets (strategic approach, strengths & weaknesses)
Act as a meaningful contributor to the team within the MBM Framework
Education:
Preferred-Not Required
: Bachelor of Engineering or Science, Paper School Degree
Basic Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of papermaking process and understanding of paper wet end chemistry.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the chemical industry.
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities:
Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of computer skills with Microsoft programs (PI system knowledge is a plus).
Ability to work individually and with the team.
