Job Description:

The account manager is responsible for ensuring the success of Thismoments customers. It is the account manager's responsibility to drive customer adoption and maintain subscription and license renewals. The end result is increased customer satisfaction, retention, adoption and growth of Thismoments DEC platform solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point-of-contact with customers after the sales process is completed; address customer questions and needs and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Oversee and ensure Order Forms are fully executed
  • Work closely with customers and the project management team to make sure everything is delivered as contracted
  • Increase DEC usage and educate customers about DEC features and capabilities
  • Showcase new features; initiate Did you know? type of communications
  • Follow up regularly with customers on their DEC reporting metrics
  • Identify upsell opportunities (e.g., pages, UGC, live events, global markets, etc.)
  • Pursue list of active accounts due for renewal; list will be provided by the Divisional Vice President
  • Collaborate with sales leads and project management team to ensure high customer communication and satisfaction
  • Build rapport and trust with customers
  • Maintain close collaboration and communication with outside sales representatives in the region

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with SaaS platform technologies and services
  • Experience developing strategic opportunities in conjunction with account and sales teams
  • Understanding of business models and marketing/social marketing initiatives
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to be an honest advocate
  • Deep understanding of social networks and Web/SaaS platform technology
  • Commitment to developing excellent customer relationships
  • Bachelors degree required; MBA desirable
