We have an exciting opportunity for a Culinary Sales Account Manager (Southeastern US Region)
We are looking for a dynamic individual with an intimate knowledge of the Culinary and Savory products industry to fulfill our Sales Account Manager position. As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary interface with SAFI, representing all Culinary and Food Safety products while maintaining and growing existing business, initiating new opportunities and by communicating the needs of the territory to the home office. In addition, the Culinary Sales Account Manager is responsible for the development of solid technical knowledge of the entire product portfolio to gain customer confidence. These will be achieved by:
A solid understanding of customer business and market industry trend
Active participation in local associations and trade organizations
Providing technical/application information to customers with the assistance of home office team to gain product efficiency
Develop an execution to manage time and costs more efficiently
Participation in industry team training programs
Home office location within sales territory
You are a great fit for this position if you can fulfill the following qualifications:
Four (4) year college degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Meat Science or other life science curriculum
Intimate knowledge of the Protein and Culinary industry which includes products such as soups, sauces, dressings, deli salads, RTE and RTC products both refridgerated and frozen
Technical marketing and/or product sales related to selling functional food ingredients
Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of customer activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
Skilled communicator that can work in a team and communicate with many other types of groups to reach a common understanding of business needs
This position may require up to 80% travel based on territory and customer location
