The successful candidate will serve as the primary sales and account management representative to the assigned accounts. The Account manager must demonstrate effective communication of business goals, programs, and processes for their assigned area(s). In this role expertise will be utilized to solve problems, develop and execute objectives. Both long and short term business goals must be considered and accomplished.

Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
  • Primarily focus on selling refinery process solutions and products to expand and maintain customer accounts
  • Actively listen to customers’ needs and provide effective technical service to resolve issues and inquiries
  • Drive growth by continuously creating and selling customer value propositions for assigned account base
  • Demonstrate the GE competitive advantage and leveraging our broad product portfolio
  • Participate in collecting and testing of appropriate samples on site
  • Interpret test results, providing recommendations to the customer for chemical or process adjustment(s) to improve or maintain the quality of the treatment program
  • Serve as a knowledge resource to GE customers using GE technology to solve identified treatment needs
  • Partner cross-functionally within GE to optimize solutions offerings
  • Develop a plan to effectively meet sales targets by meeting or exceeding key metrics for revenue, account retention and profitability
  • Learn and maintain awareness of all safety and environmental practices

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), Chemistry, or in a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of field experience in refinery specialty chemical treatment ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
