The Account Manager is responsible for promoting SPS Commerce’s’ suite of cloud based supply chain solutions to small to medium (< $75 million) sized retailers and e-tailers. This position requires drive, determination and high business acumen.


Sales : Strong track record in selling achievements; strong negotiation skills; excellent presentation skills, conceptual and strategic sales experience, high motivation and results orientation. Previous experience selling into Mid-Market (< $75 million in revenue) accounts is preferred.

Develop and execute a sales strategy to significantly grow the business and meet targeted sales goals.

Develop, build and maintain executive level relationships with customers.

Ensure that individual annual sales quota is met or exceeded.

Participate fully in any training or mentoring that may be offered.

Collaborate with the rest of the Sales team and other SPS employees/departments, openly communicating all key account information to support the growth and development of the business.


Demonstrated successful track record in sales, (technology, services, and software) preferably within the retail sector.

Minimum of approximately 3 years’ experience business development/sales working with small to mid-sized organizations.

College degree or combination of equivalent education and experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of electronic commerce and technical sales preferred.
