Provides assistance and gains product knowledge within the sales team. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities through calls, emails and other communication. Using best practices, identifies business needs and issues, captures market intelligence, qualifies, nurtures and delivers opportunities that generate sales. Conducts peer-level conversations with senior executives in finance, operations, sales and marketing and recognize buying signals to coordinate sales and prospects meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts outbound telephone calls to generate qualified sales leads for various campaigns.
Conducts outbound calls to verify existing account profiles and uncover additional information.
Tracks all sales leads and reports the win/loss and revenue history for each lead.
Attends training on sales, product and marketing strategies.
Demonstrates effective understanding of the sales cycle.
Knowledge and Skills:
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook
Sales/telemarketing experience preferred.
Education and Certification(s):
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree desired
