Account Manager - San Fernando Valley West and East
TRTA, (Thomson Reuters Tax and Accounting) is a division of the Thomson Reuters Corporation, a $12.1 billion dollar information services company. TRTA provides professionals with products that offer effective solutions for their tax and accounting requirements.
TRTA is looking for two experienced Account Managers to assume responsibility for the San Fernando Valley West and east territory. Candidate should reside within the territory. The candidate will be required to work from a home office in an appropriate office environment. Travel is less than fifty percent/does not require overnights.

We offer a competitive compensation package with base plus uncapped commissions that could earn the qualified candidate in excess of $150,000. We also have Incentive programs for highly-successful Account Managers, which lend opportunities to earn exciting travel awards and bonuses. The ideal candidate will have sales experience in a high activity environment dealing with professionals. This highly motivated person will call on Corporations, Accounting Firms and Law Firms. Experience within these specific markets is preferred but not required; however, the candidate must be comfortable working with top decision makers in all areas. We are not looking for candidates that make one or two sales per year. We are looking for those high activity reps that close 10-15 deals per month. National Account managers , pharmacuetical reps and channel sales reps need not apply. Position is representing Checkpoint, the leading product in this market. Three to five years successful professional direct sales experience to corporations
High activity level and ability to close 10-15 deals per month
Ability to work under a quota system and past documented success of achieving quota
Ability to work well in a highly competitive sales environment
Ability to successfully manage relationships with high-end firms and corporations
Proficient in office automation systems such as Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work under pressure and within urgent timelines
Demonstrated ability to conduct small and large group product demonstrations and other presentations
Bachelors degree highly preferred
Appropriate home office environment required
Knowledge of the tax and accounting market is helpful but not required
