Description 20 year Leading Supply Chain Management Company seeks to add a studious Account Manager to their team in the Greater Salt Lake City area. The account manager will take over new clients from the sales team and navigate them through company processes to successfully ensure maximum value to the client and maximum lifetime value to Company. The account manager's job is to own and serve clients and facilitate the sales person. The sales person must keep a single minded focus on their objectives and frequently replace good tasks/activities with best tasks; the person they will delegate these tasks to is the account manager. Sales persons are to focus on the future (new business); in order for them to effectively do this they must trust that the account manager is guarding their flank so they can "forget" about the day to day of the client. Evidence must be provided that the account manager knows what the clients need, the account manager cares about the client more than anyone, the account manager is on top of all the details, and the account manager owns the client and their future value. Responsibilities: Support Sales in the final sales process.Become an inside sales representative (initiate and find opportunity).Client implementations develop and set mutual expectations.Take production orders (Create bills of material (BOMs) and QC procedures according to mutual expectations). Hand-off to CSR when available.Follow through on all orders to make sure they are delivered with integrity. Manage outcomes.Work with purchasing agents by developing quality relationships with purchasers, ensuring that data is correct, and following through on quotes.Interface with Operations and understand capabilities and limitations. Suggest improvements and enhance internal communication.Approve first article inspections for production work orders (client may be present) including additional article inspections at specified intervals.Own the outcomes for each client and ensure they have complete satisfaction.Work with and come to know each client and their key employees; establish relationships of trust and work to bring additional trust and security to the relationship. Requirements: Education: 4 year college degree preferred.At least 2 years working in a warehouse environmentWillingness to support Sales in all opportunities.Trustworthy Salespersons and customers must be able to trust you to complete their projects. (Reference checks will be necessary)Demonstrated leadership skills.A quality-driven attitude.Skill in judgment and sound decision-making.Communication skills active listening and effective speaking with the proven ability to work with a variety of people.Organizational skills demonstrated skills in organizing work, setting priorities and planning ahead.Perseverance demonstrated skill in working toward goals despite encountering obstacles.Results Driven focus on and commitment to achieving outcomes.Working knowledge of warehouse and production operations.Duties of this job may require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of objects weighing up to 30 lbs., working in an office environment, operating various office equipment, sitting for long periods at a time, stooping, bending, twisting, and being exposed to various noises and temperatures. Some travel may be required.
