Job Summary

The primary focus of this role is to be the day to day contact and face of TravelClick for a portfolio of 3-4 of our largest customers.

The Relationship Manager must organize and drive the various internal departments providing reservations, web services, eCommerce solutions, website builds and business intelligence services to ensure that customer needs and concerns are handled in a timely manner, and that progress against those needs and concerns is properly communicated back to the customer.

The Relationship Manager will report directly to the VP, Key Accounts

They will ensure all team members are following established company guidelines, monitoring progress and timelines to ensure effective project completion, monitor quality assurance, provide written and verbal communications regarding project status, and analyze risk/issues with projects, among other things.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a single point of contact to 3-4 of TravelClick’s top customers
  • Communicate customer needs to internal teams and prioritize approach to fulfill on those needs
  • Drive project requests and manage completion of activities by a cross-functional team (technology, creative, SEO, copywriting, PPC, etc.)
  • Communicate project status to customers and TravelClick senior leadership
  • Ensure that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established guidelines
  • Ensure project resources are in place as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines
  • Serve as a liaison between the account management team and the technical teams for effective management of project work efforts
  • Report status to internal and client stakeholders and communicate effectively to manage expectations about status, risks, challenges, and accomplishments
  • Develop and evaluate monthly client reports
  • Assist with financial management by tracking and evaluating invoices
· Ensure appropriate resources are assigned appropriate project activities

· Identify and evaluate lessons learned during project

· Manage multiple projects and internal responsibilities simultaneously

Experience and Qualifications

· 5+ years experience in relationship or account management
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
· Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver results under pressure · Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of hotel industry and functionality is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including but not limited to executives, managers and subject matter experts
· Exceptional relationship management and project management skills required; strong negotiating skills and escalation management
  • Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to gather and interpret business needs and translate them into required project documentation
  • Understanding of business processes and information systems
  • Detail oriented and meticulous work ethic
  • Superior business and professional ethics
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously with ease
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Proactively maintain knowledge of industry trends
