Responsible for leveraging Donaldson resources to increase sales and profitability for this strategic account.
Primary contact for assigned account, which includes traveling to customer locations to solidify relationships, determine specific customer needs, and learn/absorb application and business requirements.
Development of annual strategic plan for assigned major customer.
Coordinate activities with other Donaldson entities to leverage global capabilities.
Manages all programs to ensure Donaldson support groups meet objectives as defined by the customer.
Initiates, directs, and participates in sales presentations, trade exhibits, product demonstrations, and other activities designed to identify current or potential customer needs and expectations.
Implements the overall MBU business strategy that will achieve or exceed annual sales and profit goals.
Bachelor's Degree and 3 plus years related experience, preferably within the industry.
Proven sales/marketing success involving a new customer, product, or market program that significantly contributed to the overall corporate objective.
Strong negotiating skills required.
Technical aptitude and understanding of combustion engines and vehicles is preferred.
Consistent achievement of sales goals and forecasts.
Proven ability to manage major programs and facilitate a team effectively.
Demonstrated ability to use good public relations skills including having a professional impact and being able to present to groups or individuals in a persuasive manner.
Ability to travel approximately 50% .
