DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Based in our offices located in Columbia, MD, this position perform business development activities for the Workers Compensation distribution channel through development of relationships with physicians and Payor designees and must drive new and repeat business. This position makes high volume outbound calls using a consultative approach to cultivate and close sales leads and achieve established targets. The WC-AM also maintains strong relationships with current customers to grow existing business.

Contribute to the workers’ compensation (WC) sales volume, growth and revenue objectives

Manage an assigned book of business via telephone – increasing sales volume and retention through greater adoption and utilization of Ameritox services developing new business and growth within current accounts.

Prospect for new business

Track and monitor client requests from initiation to completion to ensure customer satisfaction

Achieve established sales volumes objectives

Develop account specific business plans to achieve strategic and tactical goals

Facilitate the account implementation process and provide ongoing service and support

Conduct training of WC organizations, and physician practice personnel

Liaise with workers’ compensation organizations, healthcare providers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to achieve established objectives

Provide regular communication between customer and WC team

Communicate and advocate customer goals to WC team and other internal

Facilitate the account implementation process and provide ongoing account management

Conduct training of client WC client and physician practice personnel

Must have flexible work schedule to accommodate coverage through 8:00pm for Pacific/Mountain time zones

Respond to customer inquiries within the contractual established timeframe

Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction

Report on key activities in a timely and analytical manner

Resolve operational issues that impede workflow and the progress toward achieving objective

Define, recommend and develop strategies and operational improvements to support achieving client program objectives Service Level Standards (SLAs)

Update sales and customers information utilizing Oracle CRM module

Adhere to confidentiality (HIPPA) requirements (patient files, personal and proprietary information).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS with Healthcare concentration preferred or equivalent work experience required

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 3-5 years account management and /or sales experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device or related industry preferred.

Track record of success achieving/exceeding sales targets

Ability to use Consultative approach in all client interactions

Ability to overcome objections and make the sale

Experience and success in fast paced, outbound call environment

Knowledge of and ability to employ strategies used in for outbound telephonic sales

Self motivated, goal oriented, persistent and skilled negotiator

High level of initiative and works well in a team environment

Demonstrated sales process skills

Ability to multi-task and successfully juggle multiple priorities

Ability to work with sense of urgency

Deliver service excellence in all stakeholder interactions

Ability to clearly present company service offerings to prospective clients

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Adept in the use of Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Effective time management , organizational and telephonic skills

Ability to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships

Healthcare and WC industry experience a plus
