GENERAL NATURE OF JOB :|
Under supervision and guidance of Manager - Financial Reporting Analysis, prepares and maintains financial data and handles various internal reporting and general accounting assignments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Responsible for global financial consolidation, metrics analysis and reporting, forecasting, budgeting and special projects including preparation for both domestic and international.
Reviews and verifies accuracy of financial information for domestic and international operations.
Prepares and maintains complex financial data including gap analysis and swing sheets for monthly reporting.
Investigates and researches information or transactions in the general ledger or other accounting records to fulfill internal and external information requests.
Responsible for maintaining department controls and assist with detailed audits and testing to ensure compliance related to Sarbanes-Oxley.
Maintain accounting policies and procedure manual.
May be required to assist accountants in other departments to cover absences, special projects, peak workloads, or other events.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
1 to 3 years accounting experience
PC and software skills required
Communication and organizational skills a must
