Accountant - SEC Reporting Job Description:
Help prepare external financial reports, including the 10K and the 10Qs and help prepare the quarterly earnings releases. Work with XBRL. Keep current with FASB and SEC accounting rules help the company be in continual compliance with disclosure requirements. Required to have an ongoing strong understanding of the company's many divisions and products as they relate to reporting and explaining the financial results to the shareholders.
5+ years experience working for a public company reporting environment, preparing financial statements, 10K and 10Q and working with XBRL requirements and tagging.
2+ years public accounting experience servicing the financial services industry
Experience using Hyperion Essbase
Project management experience for complex projects
