The primary responsibility of Transport Accounting / Billing Clerk is posting information from driver delivery tickets and driver logs into AS400. This position also is responsible for maintaining the transport supply inventory. This position is in contact with remote field offices and provides support with a variety of job tasks which relate to accounting-type functions. Experience in accounting processes, billing, customer service, and office technology is a huge plus!
Qualified applicants that wish to be considered should possess the following minimum requirements:
High School diploma + 2 Years of College or Specialized Training
Must be proficient with office technology including:
Must have a dynamic personality and be a team player.
- 10 key calculator
- Microsoft Office programs
- Personal computer - ability to learn new programs
- Telephone - Great customer service skills
- Fax Machine
Must have the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language sufficiently to perform the designated duties of Transport Billing Clerk.
Must have the ability to communicate in a positive manner with management, employees, supervisors, and store personnel, co-workers, and outside vendors.
Must be able to sit and remain alert for long periods of time while working at a computer terminal, attending meetings, etc. Must be able to meet all requirements as detailed in the job description.
