With minimal supervision, the Accounting Adminsitrator III is responsible for processing accounts payable and billing, ensureing that purchases and payments are conducted in accordance with good business practices and standard accounting principles.
Perform monthly account analysis on travel accounts.
Prepare month-end journal entries, as necessary.
Assist in coordinating intercompany balances.
Assist with the consolidation of inter-company transactions and reconciliations which may include foreign currency accounting
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Answer payment questions from outside vendors and internal personnel.
Verify/review accounts payable statements received from vendors to ensure accuracy of information.
Treat Laird Technologies customers, suppliers and each other with respect and integrity.
Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Good PC skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skill, both written and oral
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or its equivalent. Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
More than 4 years experience in an accounting related function preferred
