Accounting Associate -- BillingPosition Summary: This position is primarily responsible for client invoicing, client account maintenance, collections support, accounts payable and back-up cash application functions.Primary Responsibilities: Preparation of client invoices for services provided ensuring integrity of all data, including service and system price levels. Maintain physical and electronic files for accounts payable and receivable. Primary back-up for cash application function for both electronic and manual receipts. Reconciliation of receipts with internal system records. Vouchering of incoming vendor invoices ensuring appropriate management approvals, proper account distributions, and payment terms. Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies. Other projects and duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Traits: Education/Training/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree in accounting related field preferred. 2+ years general office experience 1 year accounting related experience Familiarity with automated accounting systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics. Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency using MS Office Experience using accounting software Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to work independently; planning, organizing, scheduling and completing work within deadlines Must be detail-oriented and possess mathematical and analytical skills Ability to multi-task, establishing and managing conflicting demands and priorities Able to work in team environment. Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, fax machine, mail machines and computer workstation.
