We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Accounts Manager supporting the Pet Class of Trade. A Candidates preferred location will be any major city within the Western Region.
Our Regional Accounts Manager will direct and manage the sales process for the Pet Class of Trade within the Western Region. This position oversees and directs a National Sales Agent (Broker) insuring all C&D's goals and objectives are being executed and accomplished.
Responsible for sales of new items, category reviews, sales volume, customer profitability and margin improvement, promotional planning, budget adherence, deduction management and execution of sales / marketing / retail initiatives.
Development of annual strategic bottom-up business plan, forecasting, working in conjunction with the Customer Development and Broker Teams.
Manager the business thru the Broker Partner, effectively working in conjunction with their team to achieve Church & Dwight strategic goals.
Ability to manage and take the lead on multiple projects and manage people simultaneously.
Strong leadership, presentation and influencing skills.
Strong analytical, financial, communication and creative problem solving skills - understanding that this position is totally accountable for results.
Excellent working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, IRI, SOS, Nielsen.
Education & Experience:
Minimum 4 year college degree required
Minimum 10 years Sales Management experience in Consumer Products, ideally managing within the Pet Class of Trade thru a Broker Network.
