One such opportunity exists at our Dayton, Ohio location. We seek an Acquisition Logistician to support the Director of Logistics in general or specialized acquisition logistics support to ASC offices and programs. Must independently perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of AIS supportability and / or maintainability programs; work on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; AIS hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) / Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and ILS/R&M program management analysis.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Shall provide Total Life Cycle Logistics (TLCL) support for DoD weapon systems equipped with the LAIRCM subsystem and other new DoD weapon systems that will receive the LAIRCM subsystem
  • Assist in planning product support strategies and requirements for the long term support of LAIRCM equipped USAF platforms and USAF platforms
  • Receive LAIRCM equipment, to include Interim Contract Support (ICS), public private partnerships and long term depot requirements
  • Shall assist the government in the execution and documentation of the Source of Repair Assignment Process (SORAP)
  • Able to process technical data management/technical orders, manpower and personnel and training requirements
  • Forecast computer resources; protection of critical program information and anti-tamper provisions
  • Work details for logistics and maintainability programs and logistics and maintenance control organizations
  • Execute technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistics requirements and resources
  • Develop logistics support and maintainability programs or plans and systems acquisition requirements analysis
  • Provide budgetary or financial analysis and control, life cycle cost analysis and control
  • Provide automated instrumentation systems (AIS) hardware and software standardization and compatibility evaluations
  • Collect, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition or financial data and information

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Senior Logistician: 10 years of acquisition logistics experience, five (5) years of logistics support experience involved in aeronautical weapon systems acquisition logistics
  • Journeyman Logistician: 5 years of acquisition logistics experience
  • Junior Logistician: 2 years of acquisition logistics support
  • Must have a Bachelor Degree in management, logistics management or technically equivalent
  • Must have Microsoft Office skills
  • Candidate must possess a secret security clearance
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
