Seeking an energetic, people-person with a real desire to work with and care for the elderly in an engaging, fun environment as an Activities Assistant! High school diploma or GED is required; CNA certification is preferred. Hours are weekends and holidays REQUIRED with some weekday work as needed. Qualified candidates MUST have prior Activities experience.

Assist in all responsibilities of the activities department in providing current, compliant activities while being knowledgeable in regulations and authorities. Originate and plan appropriate resident activities based on resident assessments and care plans. Assist in processing monthly calendars and other resident information. Help maintain a pleasant and cheerful SNF environment that ensures resident satisfaction with all activities and planned events. Execute activities including initial preparation, setup, engagement with residents during the activity and clean up after.

Position is for weekends and holiday hours with some weekdays as needed.

Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED; Certified Nursing assistant preferred - valid/current FL license/certification required if CNA.

Successful candidates must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role (activities) in assisted or skilled nursing facility required.


Must be able to work as part of a team, have a positive attitude, and have an understanding of our residents needs.
