The Seasons at Apple Valley is seeking a caring and responsible individual for an Activities Assistant position (Part Time - Temporary). Hours will include evenings and weekends; approximately 28 hours per week (56 per pay period). Our mission is to create home for older adults wherever they choose to live. The Activities Assistant is responsible for conducting activities with our residents, and generally assisting the department manager with planned activities and events. Their priority is to empower and assist each resident in reaching and maintaining their highest level of performance and independence.
Skills & Requirements
The Activities Assistant will have a high school diploma or GED. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to being caring, flexible in duties assigned and scheduling, motivated, responsible, and dependable. The right candidate will have an energetic and positive attitude, exercise good judgment, work well both individually and as part of a team, and have a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Previous experience in activities and working with seniors and conducting activities is preferred.
