The Computer Science Department at Carthage College invites applications for a one-year, part-time, adjunct teaching position starting in August 2013. The successful candidate will teach data communications (fall) and/or computer organization (spring). Applicants are expected to have a strong commitment to excellent teaching and should have either a Ph.D. or a M.S. in Computer Science or related field.
Carthage was founded in 1847 and is a private college of the liberal arts and sciences affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. With enrollment of approximately 2,500 full-time and 900 part-time students, Carthage awards degrees in more than 50 subject areas and has a long-standing commitment to educating the whole person by nourishing the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical dimensions of students’ lives. Carthage is situated on the Lake Michigan shore, midway between Chicago and Milwaukee, and is a focal point in the Kenosha community.
