Job Summary

Provide the expertise and knowledge that support the college curriculum and programs. Establish courses following accepted higher education standards, teach students using a variety of effective methodologies and provide engagement and support activities that encourage student learning. The role of the Instructional Faculty encompasses teaching and learning, academic advising, professional development and institutional and community service. The incumbent will teach a maximum load of fifteen (15) equated hours each semester in area(s) of competency and participate as a full-time instructor in the activities of the department, division and college.

Education Requirements

Must have completed at least eighteen (18) graduate hours in Accounting and hold a Master's degree from an accredited institution is required (official transcript(s) conferring degree must accompany the application). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required. Photocopy of college transcript showing degree conferred must be submitted with application for consideration. OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF EMPLOYMENT. Copies of all relevant transcripts must be submitted with your application, on or before the closing date. Experience Requirements

Three (3) years of non-teaching experience in accounting are required. A completed "Verification of Relevant Work Experience" form must accompany the application. Two (2) years of teaching experience at the college level are required. NOTE: Part-time experience will be counted as half of full-time experience; for example, two (2) years of part-time experience will equal one (1) year of full-time experience.
