DESCRIPTION

This position would begin on January 6, 2014 and work 5 hours per week. The duration of the assignment is roughly 15 weeks from the start date.

This position will teach Thursdays from 8:00 am - 11:00 am and Fridays from 9:30 am - 11:30 am.

DUTIES

1. Teach a 4 credit undergraduate Cell Biology course about the study of eukaryotic cells a from both structural and functional viewpoints. Course emphasis will be placed on molecular mechanisms of cell metabolism, growth, division, cell responses to diseases, cellular communication and how cells create and use energy.

Labs will provide insight into cell experiments and methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. PhD in Biology or related field
2. Three years of college level teaching experience in Biology or related field
3. Experience teaching in online environments preferred 1. Teach a 4 credit undergraduate Cell Biology course about the study of eukaryotic cells a from both structural and functional viewpoints.
