Saint Leo University is creating a pool of potential adjunct instructors to teach Religion at our Fort Eustis office, located in Joint Base Langley/Eustis ( JBLE ), Newport News, Virginia.
Appointments are for immediate and upcoming terms.
Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and are processed as priority upon the receipt of all official transcripts.
An adjunct instructor is a term-to-term appointment with responsibility to students, course material and classroom instruction.
Instructors will be responsible for teaching Religion courses.
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is the minimum requirement for undergraduate programs. Doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution is required for graduate programs.
A Doctorate degree in Religion from a regionally accredited institution is preferable.
A Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in Religion or a closely related field is the minimum requirement for undergraduate programs. The degree must be from a regionally accredited institution.

In order to continue with the recruiting and hiring process, it is requested of the applicants to review the University’s Mission and Values which are available on the Saint Leo website at www.saintleo.edu. With the review it is requested that each applicant write a brief statement (500 words or less) which highlights how the candidate’s teaching fits the mission and values of Saint Leo University. Please attach the statement as “Values Statement” during the application process.
Official transcripts for Master and Doctorate degrees are required to complete your application packet and are to be issued directly to Saint Leo University from the respective education institution.

Transcripts mailed to any other address or location will result in a delay of your application process.
Transcripts that are issued / addressed to the student or received by the student are NOT accepted.
A certified evaluation and translation from World Education Services ( WES ) is required for foreign transcripts. You may contact WES directly at www.wes.org or 800-937-3895.
Expenses for official transcripts are the responsibility of the applicant.
