The School of Music and Dance at the University of Oregon invites applications for temporary, part-time, limited-duration teaching positions in the music program. Positions may be one-term (ten weeks) or multiple terms as needed, but with the possibility of renewal for up to a total of three years depending on need, funding, and performance.
Areas of expertise include performance-related instruction in harp, jazz drum set, piano, strings (violin, viola, cello, Suzuki pedagogy), voice, winds and brass. Relevant university level teaching experience or professional experience required.
Master’s degree in a relevant field in music is required. In exceptional circumstances, significant professional experience in a relevant field may substitute for college degree. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
