The Administrative/Scheduling Assistant for Environmental Services (EVS) provides general administrative assistance to the EVS Department. Responsibilities will involve handling confidential and sensitive material as well as working with and keeping up-to-date all Sodexo programs for EVS. Will provide assistance to the Staffing Coordinator in maintaining all staff scheduling for the EVS Department. Work frequently involves interaction and communication with staff and multiple departments. Many decisions have a measurable impact on the department and the department's service image. Ability to work independently is critical, as frequently instructions are received at the beginning of complex projects and sensitive assignments with the resulting work being reviewed at completion.
High school/GED/equivalent. Position requires a complete knowledge of a full range of administrative processes typically gained through 3-5 years of experience. Valid Drivers License. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet varied deadlines. Position requires individual to be very organized.
Incumbent should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must possess ability to make and build strong relationships.
Basic computer skills. Word. Excel. PowerPoint. Publisher. Outlook. Position may require payroll and record keeping experience. Desired skills may include writing, basic knowledge of accounting, Internet research and usage, MS Project, Access and Outlook skills. Associates degree or comparable experience preferred.
