The Arts and Science Department of Art History is seeking a highly motivated individual to perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial, and general office duties including those of a confidential nature. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the department's activities, policies and programs. Assist with the prioritization of office activities. Compose letters and correspondence. Process adjunct appointments and paperwork. Perform general word processing, spreadsheet and data entry duties utilizing intermediate-level functions. Assist in monitoring moderately complex budgets.

Qualifications/Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education:
Required Experience:
2 years of office experience.

Preferred Experience:
1-2 years of office experience (with Associate's degree).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):

Proficiency with intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Moderate, accurate keyboarding.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):

Proficiency with intermediate-level Microsoft Office. Good writing and proofreading skills.
