A fantastic Telecommunications company in Houston is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant with collections experience to join their Advanced Services Department. This person will be assisting the department needs and overflow of Accounts Receivables/Collections. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Administrative and/or Accounts Receivable experience. Candidates must be dependable, having a solid understanding of basic accounting, excellent follow-up and strong attention to detail.
This person will support the Purchasing/Project Coordinator in our Advanced Services Department. This fast paced position will work closely with the operations manager, as well as audio visual technicians and project managers.
Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel
Experience/exposure with/to AutoCAD software or Adobe Professional, architectural/construction drawings a plus.
Prefer experience with Great Plains software
Organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities a must, as deadlines must be met.
Strong customer service skills
Good judgment and ability to follow procedures/instructions as needed.
Experience with collections/accounts receivable a plus.
Experience with customer service a must.
Audio visual industry and familiarity with parts in same helpful
