Responsible for support of ongoing department activities. Perform administrative and clerical functions as required for the department. Perform all necessary functions for Operations to assure smooth order processing for customer accounts; support sales representatives in given territories; and monitor, track and file orders.
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Clerical functions including filing, copying, faxing, mailing, Fed Ex, scanning, answering calls, etc.
Making travel arrangements as necessary.
Maintain customer information (Goldmine) and customer files.
Enter customer orders for all products.
Maintain, monitor and update sales orders, customer files, back orders, and product availability.
Direct and/or answer calls relating to sales orders and shipments from various customers and vendors
Research and issue miscellaneous credit/debit memos.
Provide call in support to Sales Representatives.
Organize and file paperwork relating to shipments and customer/vendor information
The non-essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs other job functions as assigned.
College education or equivalent beneficial
Working knowledge of SAP helpful.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
