Provides support with the daily activities of a business office including filing, telephone coverage, assisting with reports and appointment scheduling.
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Organizes and maintains a filing system, sorting mail, assisting with report writing.
Answers telephone and either responds to inquiry, directs caller to appropriate personnel.
Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler.
Strong computer skills, especially using Excel for running reports.
Experience with scheduling and making travel arrangements.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience as an Administrative Assistant in a health care setting preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
