Salary: A minimum starting salary of $13.34/hour (08SS) and a comprehensive and competitive fringe benefit package are provided.

The ideal candidate must have High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred but not required; Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; Ability to work well under pressure and independently, and handle multiple tasks; General computer experience with emphasis on Microsoft Office; Knowledge of SCT BANNER highly desirable; Commitment to the community college mission.

Description Delaware County Community College, a competency-based institution, committed to diversity invites applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant in our Southeast Center campus.

The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to the Director and Instructional and Student Services (and the non-credit division) at the College’s Southeast Center. This position will work collaboratively with all members of the administrative, faculty and support staff team. It will also provide quality customer service reflecting the culture and mission of DCCC and Branch Campus Operations. This position requires a professional demeanor and a willingness to address the needs of the ‘customer’ quickly and accurately.

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to a ssisting students with accessing information on the College’s website; complete purchase requests and Office Depot orders; organize and maintain teaching applicant files; send confirmation email and respond to inquiries; schedule adjunct interviews each semester for Director; send confirmation letter and application; keep current copies of all instructor syllabi on shared drive; post class cancellations to delaGate; maintain current list of instructor addresses and phone numbers; check HR cabinet for new resumes and send auto response; record adjunct faculty absences in delaGate - generate reports as requested; prepare and distribute student evaluations; forward to Branch Campus representative or IE; create enrollment reports as requested by the Vice Provost or Director; perform other duties as assigned.
