Leverages the GIS professional’s time by performing administrative duties related to the scope of their responsibilities. This includes coordination of materials and activities that may be associated with client meetings, appointments or other meetings associated within the context of their environment. Independently assists in and/or leads special and ad-hoc projects of moderate complexity and with little direction. Independently creates and maintains various reports and databases using advanced technical skills and high level of business unit/reporting analytics knowledge. Demonstrated ability to navigate through the Touchpoint database application which captures client data and produces numerous reports for analysis. Fosters successful relationships through direct interaction with peers and others. Partners with management to build a collaborative working environment while promoting leadership, exercising good judgment and professionalism.
Leverages the professionals’ time by performing administrative duties related to the scope of the professionals’ responsibilities. Schedules appointments, prepares correspondence, coordinates catering requests, compiles agendas, screens calls and visitors, coordinates travel arrangements (including international travel) and processes expense reports. Responsible for coordinating both internal and external meetings, maintaining calendars and filing, and organization of other critical documents.
Manages information flow. Coordinates appropriate materials for meetings, appointments and presentations. Brings to the professionals’ attention only those matters for which they need to be informed of and require immediate attention.
Compiles, creates and maintains various reports, databases and charts using software applications that may require an advanced level of knowledge—may be called upon as a resident subject matter expert to provide guidance to others by answering technical questions.
Independently assists in or leads special and ad-hoc projects related to the manager’s varied scope of responsibilities. Some projects may require the individual to take the lead role in managing a process or they may be the only resource responsible for the execution of the project.
Works collaboratively with supervisor and team to ensure that seamless back-up support is provided to the professionals. Identifies opportunities to improve and streamline the quality and efficiency of work and aid management in the implementation of organizational change. Be a role model and mentor to associates. May at times be asked to act in a mentoring capacity to others, specifically to new associates.
6 or more years of experience in a fast-paced office environment
High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years related work experience, or college degree
Executive or senior level administrative /project management experience in a business environment
Strong customer service, interpersonal, leadership skills
Self-directed and able to perform assignments independently; demonstrates pro-active approach and is flexible with change
Advanced knowledge of technical applications
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
