An experienced, driven and focused Administrative Assistant to provide overall administrative support for the Information Technology department. This position is well suited for an individual with superior multitasking, follow through problem solving and communication skills. Ideal candidates have some knowledge of hardware/software and are proactive, have the ability to work collaboratively as well as with a great deal of autonomy.
Performs general administrative duties such as scanning, processing vendor invoices and uploading to data base.
Performs software audits which includes coordination with multiple resources.
Responsible for procurement process to include requisition creation and invoice processing.
Organizes and maintains various files and tracking systems.
Project coordination and other tasks as assigned.
BA/BS Degree or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of administrative experience.
Experience working in an IT environment or with software and hardware.
Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
High attention to details and great follow up.
Must be creative, able to problem solve, obtain, analyze, and hypothesize from data points obtained.
A high degree of proficiency with all MS Office products including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Outlook.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with management team, customers and users.
Exceptional written, verbal communication and organizational skills.
Basic project coordination skills: the ability to provide feedback, improve processes, and propose solutions to identified problems.
Initiative and good judgment.
Ability to demonstrate courtesy and tact in obtaining and furnishing information.
Must be customer service oriented.
Must have exceptional follow up, analytical and time management skills.
Must be very detailed oriented, flexible and the ability to re-prioritize quickly in a very fast and changing environment.
Must have self-direction/motivation.
