The Office of the President at the University of Indianapolis invites applications for an Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt staff position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Administrative Assistant for the Office of the President is a highly responsible and highly visible role that provides executive-level administrative support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with the reception management in the Office of the President; overseeing maintenance and content updates of the Office of the President website, Facebook account, and other social media outlets; coordinating meetings and event planning, including preparing agendas and contacting participants; assisting with budgetary and expense reports and monitoring; and managing calendars and electronic communications.

Special Instructions to Applicants

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
High school degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience with website and social media updating, as well as experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Exceptional writing skills required.
